How To Remove Eyelash Extensions At Home

Hi girls, I made a post on my eyelash extensions experience not too long ago and shortly after posting it I decided to remove my lashes. They were just too annoying! (If youve not read it I’ll leave a link at the bottom).

So once I was ready to remove my eyelash extensions, I realised I didn’t actually know how to remove them at home and to be honest I wasn’t going to waste another hour of my life just to remove them and pay £20 for them when I could just do them at home for FREE!!

I did some research and I found that oil works. So before I did anything I removed my makeup using Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I then lathered a lot of Organic Virgin Coconut Oil on my lashes (and nearly blinded myself in the process). I probably rubbed the oil in for 10 minutes before using an eyelash brush and still nothing! It didn’t work at all!

The next day I did the same but I washed my lashes with warm water so it softens the glue and I slightly warmed the oil and I got a few lashes but I didn’t have enough time to do it over a longer period of time so had to do the rest the next day.

The third day I did the same thing and wasn’t expecting anything but it actually worked. I guess the oil from the past 2 days helped dissolve the glue and the lashes literally slid off. I then washed my lashes with warm water to get rid of any glue residue and literally that’s it. After I washed my face I applied some Pixi Skintreats Glow Tonic.

I had the coconut oil at home and it literally took me 10 mins per day! If you want you could probably do this for longer and do it in one day. If I knew I would have probably done it over half an hour and got it over and done with.
