What I’m Watching On Netflix

The days are starting to get colder and a bit more depressing. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m finding myself glued to my TV and binge watching Netflix. I love it, my kids love it and my husband loves it. So I’ve got a list of the best and worst movies I’ve watched recently so you know which are a hit and which to, quite literally, miss.

10. Bad Moms: A Bad Moms Christmas

Netflix.com

If you’ve watched Bad Moms then you’ll probably be really excited to watch Bad Moms Christmas, however, I was disappointed! It wasn’t nearly as good as Bad Moms and felt like a bad version of daddy’s home 2. 5/10

9. Fast and Furious 7

The Fast and Furious franchise was my favourite but after each movie it starts to get a bit more boring. Fast and Furious 7 is my favourite one out of them all. I know a Fast and Furious 9 is on its way but honestly, I think I’ve had enough of the Fast and Furious franchise now. They’ve made their money they should leave it now. 6/10

8. National Security

I know this movie was released in 2003 and I’ve probably watched this 20 times since. But this movie is so funny. Martin Lawrence is and will always be funny. 7/10

7. Girls Trip

I loved this movie. It does have some nudity and very strong language. I felt a little uncomfortable watching it at some parts but I forwarded the bits I didn’t like. It definitely made me laugh and I would definitely watch it again. 8/10

6. The Blind Side

Another movie I loved. This movie actually made me cry. It was a feel good movie and the fact it was based on a true story made me love it more. Sandra Bullock is one of the main characters and she plays her part so well. 8/10

5. Bad Moms

So the original bad moms is amazing. I’m a mum and I relate to this. The immense pressure on a mother and the Mila Kunis’ character breaks them boundaries and shows she’s only human and it all works out for her in the end and that’s what we all love. 8/10

4. Daddy’s Home 2

Daddy’s Home 2 is a Christmas movie and a feel good movie. It’s just as good as Daddy’s Home, maybe even better. It stars my favourite actor Farrell Wahlberg. And a guest appearance from John Cena. 8/10

3. Jumanji: Original

I absolutely loved the new jumanji so watched the old one to see if it was just as good and minus Dwayne Johnson (droooollll) it was probably (dare I say) just as good! I watched this with my son and we loved it. 9/10

2. Baywatch

I must admit I’ve never watched the original Baywatch. But, I love this movie! Not just because Dwayne Johnson is in it but because all together it’s just a fun movie. My 4 year old son begged me to watch this because it’s got Dwayne Johnson in it. I forwarded the adult parts and thankfully he doesn’t understand the adult jokes yet so it was okay and he LOVED it. 9/10

1. Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle

The main point is it stars Dwayne Johnson! If you haven’t already guessed my favourite actor is Dwayne Johnson BUT! This movie also has my favourite comedian Kevin Hart. It’s pretty much got the same concept as the original Jumanji but a bit different. My husband and kids LOVED it and we watched it as one of our family movie nights. 10/10
